What happens when you find yourself humming and tapping out tunes that don't actually exist? This is the situation I found myself in about 12 months ago when I fired up one of my laptops and started to do something about it.

What I present here are 4 tracks from the many that I have fiddled around with during these last 12 months.

Perseids is the simplest of them, and the only one that was played 'live' using 2 ARP emulators, and captured on a 3rd laptop. Its presented here with minimal editing (just to align notes to correct timing) so does contain a few bum notes, but I think adds to the general level of quirkiness.

At the end of infinity was actually inspired by an article in New Scientist I read many years ago. This is my attempt to convey the feel of this article in a noisy form. What would happen if you got to the end of infinity?

From Inside the Cold Hive stems from a time when my wife and I kept Bees. Autumn feeding to get them through the Winter was always a critical time, and sometimes we would stand and listen to the hives - you could just make out a low noise as they balled together to ride out the cold.

The title track is one that I have spent the longest time on, and probably one that I struggled to bring to a conclusion. I think if I really wanted to, I could stretch the thoughts and themes out to fill an hour or so.
